Privacy Policy

This privacy policy describes how CatEye (cateyefotos.com) handles information when you use this website. We take privacy seriously — it's the reason this site exists in the first place.

Information We Collect

CatEye is designed to minimize data collection. Here's what we do and don't collect:

We do not collect:

  • Personal identifying information (names, email addresses, phone numbers) — unless you voluntarily send us an email through our contact address
  • Browser fingerprints or device identifiers
  • IP addresses stored in any persistent log
  • Tracking cookies or advertising identifiers
  • Browsing history or page interaction data

We may collect:

  • Basic server access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested page) retained for a maximum of 48 hours for security monitoring and DDoS protection. These are automatically purged and never analyzed for user identification
  • Information you voluntarily submit via email correspondence

Cookies

CatEye does not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies. We do not use any third-party analytics services such as Google Analytics, Matomo, or similar tools.

If we implement any functional cookies in the future (for example, to remember a display preference), this policy will be updated and the cookies will be clearly documented here.

Third-Party Services

CatEye does not share, sell, or transmit any user data to third parties. We do not integrate third-party advertising networks, social media tracking pixels, or external analytics platforms.

Our hosting provider processes standard HTTP requests to serve the website. We select hosting providers that maintain strict data handling practices and do not mine traffic data.

Data Security

All connections to cateyefotos.com are served over HTTPS with TLS 1.3 encryption. Server access is restricted and managed through SSH key authentication. Temporary server logs are stored in encrypted partitions and automatically purged on a rolling 48-hour basis.

Your Rights

Since we don't collect or store personal data beyond transient server logs, there is typically no personal data to access, modify, or delete. If you have sent us an email and wish to have your correspondence deleted, contact us at contact@cateyefotos.com and we will remove it.

If you are located in the European Union, you retain all rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). If you are located in California, you retain all rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). In practice, our minimal data collection means these rights are largely moot — but they apply in full regardless.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy periodically. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "last updated" date. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
